| Required: | 2 or 3 large marshmallows per camper. a long string or fishing line per team. |
| Preparation: | Optionally, freeze the marshmallows to make them firm. Poke a hole through each marshmallow with a skewer and string it onto the line. Put the same number on each line - 16 or 24 for an 8-person team. Tie the string between two trees at about chest height. |
| Instructions: | Teams line up at a starting line about 10 feet or so from the strings of marshmallows. On 'Go' signal, first camper in each team runs to their string, eats one marshmallow with hands clasped behind back, then tags next in line. Repeat for a set time length or until one team has eaten all their marshmallows. Each eaten marshmallow is worth 5 points. Any touching marshmallows with hands takes away 3 points. Any dropped pieces on the ground take away 3 points, unless they are eaten. |
