| This Game is meant for older campers. Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger campers or not. | |
| Required: | paper and pencil for each team a judge for each team a cone or marker for each team |
| Preparation: | Define a starting line and turn-around spot about 30 or 40 feet away for each team. |
| Instructions: | Teams are given 2 minutes to write down the name of each member in the order that they will run the race. Also write the method of running that camper will do. For example, Pat - hop on left foot Taylor - hop on right foot Eddie - run backwards Sam - run normal Smaller teams need to write down names multiple times so they have the same number of races as the largest team. They must memorize their list and then hand it in to the judge for their team. All teams line up on the starting line. On go signal, the first member on list runs their race, followed by next, to the last camper. The judge checks that the correct camper runs the correct type of race in the correct order. You might have a list of ways to run and each team needs to just match a camper with each style. This would ensure each team runs the same races. |
