| This Skit is meant for older campers. Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger campers or not. | |
| Script: | A pair of campers are needed to do this running skit. After a skit concludes, camper #1 comes running across the stage, looking fearful. Camper #2 chases him while carrying a thick stick or bat or club, and roaring as if he is mad at camper #1, but not really saying any words. Camper #1 runs through the audience, dodges around the campfire, whatever he can do to keep away from camper #2. After a few seconds of dodging around, he runs offstage into the dark with camper #2 still chasing behind him. (another skit is performed.) Camper #1 runs onto the stage, panting heavily. Camper #1: Has anyone seen _____(other camper name)? Where is he? I've got to get awar from him, but he's like a bloodhound! Camper #2 comes yelling in from the distance offstage and camper #1 yelps and runs off in the other direction with camper #2 chasing him yet again. (another skit is performed. While it is being done, camper #1 should enter the audience from the rear, wearing a hood, sunglasses, some disguise, and find a place to sit.) Camper #2 runs on stage, carrying his stick, panting and searching around. Camper #2: Has anyone seen ______(first person name)? I'm gonna get him! Camper #2 searches around in the audience until he finds camper #1 who jumps up and takes off again with camper #2 hot on his heels, hollering wildly. (another skit is performed.) In the distance, the two campers come running toward the stage, hollering. When camper #1 gets onstage, he trips and falls and camper #2 finally catches up to him, helpless on the ground. Camper #2: AHA! Towering over camper #1, and holding his big club, camper #2 quickly reaches down, tags him, and says 'You're It!'. He drops the club and runs off into the dark while camper #1 quickly picks up the club and chases after him, hollering wildly. |
